The San Luis Police Department arrested two people on suspicion of unlawful imprisonment along with other charges after they tried to flee from an officer and went running into a house.
A SLPD Officer attempted to make contact with a male subject who ran from him in the area of the 1200 Block of Babbitt Lane. The suspect ran into a residence and locked himself inside along with a female companion that was with him.
After about 30 minutes of being inside the residence, the suspects came out of the residence and it was then learned that inside the residence were three juveniles. The suspects were told by one of the juvenile victims to leave the residence but the suspects refused and continued to be inside the residence unlawfully.
The suspects were identified as 22 year old Angel Preciado and 26 year old Isabela Delgado.
Angel was booked into the Yuma County Jail for possession of drug paraphernalia, three counts of endangerment, 2nd degree burglary, criminal trespassing and unlawful imprisonment.
Isabela was booked into the Yuma County Jail for criminal trespassing and 2nd degree burglary. Isabela was also booked for a warrant that had been issued to her for the charges of failure to stop for a police officer and possession of drug paraphernalia.
