This morning the San Luis Police Department donated several Thanksgiving dinners to several families within the City of San Luis.
For the past few years, SLPD has been adopting families within the community and each Thanksgiving morning officers will deliver these meals to those families that they have adopted in this program.
Both the San Luis Police Officers Association and the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge #77 contributed funds so that these dinners could be purchased.
SLPD will continue to adopt families during Thanksgiving Day for many years to come and hopefully be able to adopt many more families as our community continues to grow.
