Suspect arrested for four separate burglary charges

On 02-22-2023, San Luis Police officers arrested a suspect that was linked to four separate residential burglaries in the San Luis community. The burglar was identified as Omar Zambada (34 y/o) a resident of San Luis, Arizona. Officers that arrested Omar had worked the investigation during a three week period and were successfully able to link all the burglaries to Omar. Omar was booked into the Yuma County Adult Detention Facility on the following felony charges: 3 counts of Burglary in the 2nd Degree and 1 count of Burglary in the 3rd Degree.
For any suspicious activity, we encourage all members of our community to report it to the San Luis Police Department by calling us at 928-341-2420.
