The San Luis Police Department is making changes to the lobby access for people coming in after business hours. The SLPD lobby will now have restricted access to the public from 7am to 8pm. The lobby doors will remain closed from 8pm until 7am the next day. When coming to the SLPD after door closing time, the pre-lobby area will remain available to the pubic with a phone that connects to dispatch who will assist or dispatch an officer if needed. This change will take effect on December 23rd, 2024.
As usual, our police department emergency services will remain available 24/7 during the entire year. SLPD emergency services can also be requested by dialing (928)341-2420 or 911 for emergencies.
