The San Luis Police Department will start enforcing abandoned vehicles left on Bureau of Land Management property.
The SLPD has been working in conjunction with the Bureau of Land Management to start enforcing a cleanup campaign where numerous vehicles have been left abandoned.
The SLPD has seen a growing number of vehicles that are being left abandoned behind the Triple B gas station. Some of these vehicles have been in the area for over 6 months.
SLPD will start to tag vehicles that show signs of abandonment. The owner will have 48 hours to remove it from this location or else it will be towed away from the property.
Any vehicle that has been tagged by the police department will be towed from the area and will be impounded at a local impound yard.
