11 Year Old Armed Robbery Suspect Caught

Last night at 1944 hours, San Luis police officers responded to Super C Gas Station located at 1645 E. Cesar Chavez Street in reference to a detained male juvenile that had committed an armed robbery. Upon officers’ arrival, a group of four juveniles had already physically retrained the later identified as an 11 year old juvenile. While police officers were on scene, and upon further investigation of the incident it was further discovered that the juvenile had displayed and pointed the weapon while demanding money from the store clerk, who was at the cash register. The juvenile took a total of $282.27 all of which was recovered. The juvenile suspect was arrested and booked into the Yuma County Juvenile Detention Center in a variety of felony charges to included armed robbery.
