On 11-07-2022 at about 1447 hours, a San Luis taxi driver identified as Luis Gilberto Ozuna, also a resident of San Luis, Arizona, was arrested by San Luis Police Department Detectives for molestation of a minor. The victim was identified as a 7 y/o female also a resident of San Luis, Arizona. After being processed, Luis was booked into the Yuma County Adult Detention Facility under two felony counts of molestation of a child. The San Luis Police Department is encouraging parents to speak with their children about being cautious of traveling with strangers and walking alone in the streets. The San Luis Police Department is also asking the community to report any suspicious or suspected criminal activity.
